Diving in Bali: reefs, manta rays, and Indo-Pacific marine life
Bali is one of Indonesia's most fascinating diving destinations, boasting a vast array of ecosystems and marine life.
During our expedition, we will explore various parts of the island and travel to Nusa Penida to enjoy dives at Manta Point. We will also visit some of Bali's most renowned dive sites, including the USAT Liberty wreck in Tulamben.
The trip combines diverse diving experiences, ranging from tropical reefs and macro photography to night dives and encounters with large marine species.
And out of the water, the experience continues with temples, rice terraces, waterfalls, and local traditions.

Diving in Nusa Penida and Manta Point
One of the trip's highlights is our diving day at Nusa Penida, renowned for its stunning underwater landscapes and the chance to encounter oceanic manta rays.
At Manta Point, we will seek out encounters with these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat, always respecting sea conditions and wildlife behavior.
Diving the USAT Liberty:
the Tulamben shipwreck
Off the coast of Tulamben lies the USAT Liberty, one of Bali's most famous shipwrecks and a major attraction for diving and underwater photography enthusiasts.
Its structures have become an artificial habitat for a wide variety of marine life, creating a particularly compelling setting for photography.
Much more than a diving trip to Bali
Coral & Culture was created to combine two worlds: the Bali that exists underwater and the Bali discovered on land.
During the trip, we will have time to explore Amed, visit temples, discover waterfalls and rice fields, and take part in experiences rooted in local culture.
We will also share a special Full Moon ceremony and a farewell dinner featuring traditional Balinese dance.
Mola Mola in Bali
Bali is a destination known for the chance to encounter Mola Mola, especially during certain times of the year.
Their presence depends on the season, conditions, and the animals' behavior, so any encounter should be viewed as a possibility rather than a guarantee.
Underwater photography in Bali
Bali offers exceptional opportunities for underwater photography, ranging from tiny nudibranchs and pygmy seahorses to manta rays, turtles, and large fish.
During the trip, we will hold an underwater macro photography workshop with professional underwater photographer Borja García, featuring applied techniques, feedback, and hands-on learning directly in the water.
In addition, each participant will have an underwater photography session and the opportunity to enter our photography and video contest.
Bali is a year-round diving destination, although sea conditions, visibility, and the presence of specific species can vary depending on the season and location.
Our "Coral & Culture" trip takes place in November—a time we selected to combine diverse diving and underwater photography experiences across Bali and Nusa Penida.
During this period, we will have the opportunity to seek out encounters with manta rays and other marine species, while also enjoying the region's rich diversity of reefs and macro life.
