Culture
Wae Rebo Tribe
Two days high in the mountains with the Wae Rebo tribe. One of Indonesia's most isolated and best-preserved indigenous communities. We'll sleep in their ancient village, share their rituals, their food, and their worldview. An experience few people on the planet have ever had.
Nature
Wild Komodo
A full-day excursion to Komodo National Park to see the dragons in their natural habitat. Pink sand beaches, unique viewpoints, and untouched nature unlike anywhere else on the planet. In the evening, enjoy a guided night herding excursion to spot snakes and other local wildlife.
Workshop Photo
Gran angular + Macro
Two simultaneous workshops led by two professional photographers. Wide-angle photography with @borjius_diver to work on composition in currents, reefs, and great encounters. Macro photography with @santi.tinoco to discover the microlife of the Komodo seabed.

Wide Angle vs Macro
Photography contest open to all participants with prizes for the winners. Two categories — wide angle and macro — so each diver can compete in their own style.
Las corrientes son parte fundamental de lo que hace especial al buceo en Komodo.
El movimiento de las masas de agua concentra nutrientes alrededor de los arrecifes y crea unas condiciones excepcionales para la vida marina.
Pero también hacen que Komodo sea un destino que requiere preparación y experiencia.
La intensidad y dirección de la corriente pueden variar según el punto de inmersión, la marea y las condiciones del día.
Por eso cada inmersión comienza con un briefing específico y se adapta a las condiciones reales del agua. No se trata de luchar contra la corriente, sino de entenderla y bucear con ella.
Los mejores puntos de buceo de Komodo
Crystal Rock es uno de los puntos de buceo más emblemáticos de Komodo, con una espectacular concentración de vida alrededor de su pináculo volcánico. Las condiciones pueden variar según la corriente, creando inmersiones muy diferentes.
Castle Rock es conocido por sus corrientes y por la posibilidad de encontrar grandes bancos de peces y tiburones de arrecife. Un punto especialmente interesante para quienes buscan acción y vida pelágica.
Batu Bolong destaca por sus paredes cubiertas de coral y su extraordinaria densidad de vida marina. Un escenario especialmente atractivo para la fotografía gran angular.
Un viaje de buceo en grupo reducido
Viajamos en grupos reducidos para poder ofrecer un acompañamiento más cercano y adaptar el ritmo del viaje a las personas que forman parte de la expedición.
Andrea y Borja acompañan al grupo durante toda la experiencia, desde las inmersiones hasta las actividades en tierra, con guías locales especializados en cada actividad.
Buceo con mantas en Komodo
Las mantas son uno de los grandes protagonistas del buceo en Komodo.
Las corrientes y la riqueza de nutrientes de determinadas zonas crean condiciones ideales para encontrar estos grandes animales.
Durante Wild Current visitaremos puntos donde existe la posibilidad de encontrarlas, siempre respetando la distancia y el comportamiento natural de los animales.
No garantizamos encuentros con fauna salvaje: elegimos las zonas y las fechas buscando las mejores posibilidades, pero dejamos que sea el océano quien decida qué nos muestra.
Mejor época para bucear en Komodo
Komodo ofrece diferentes experiencias de buceo según la zona y la época del año.
Las rutas norte y sur presentan condiciones y temperaturas diferentes, por lo que elegir las fechas adecuadas es especialmente importante.
Nuestro viaje Wild Current se realiza del 16 al 25 de mayo de 2027, una época que hemos elegido para combinar las condiciones del norte de Komodo con las posibilidades de encontrar vida marina en la zona sur.
Mayo marca además una transición interesante entre las temporadas de ambas zonas, permitiéndonos diseñar un viaje que combine corrientes, grandes pelágicos, mantas y macrofotografía.
Fotografía submarina en el Komodo
Komodo es un destino excepcional para trabajar tanto fotografía gran angular como fotografía macro.
Las mantas, tiburones y grandes bancos de peces ofrecen oportunidades para trabajar escala, movimiento y composición, mientras que los arrecifes y zonas de macro permiten buscar nudibranquios, caballitos de mar pigmeos y otras especies crípticas.
Durante la expedición contarás con dos workshops especializados, sesiones de fotografía profesional y feedback para ayudarte a mejorar tus imágenes durante el viaje.
