Los cenotes son uno de los grandes motivos para viajar a la Riviera Maya. Estas formaciones de agua dulce, conectadas con extensos sistemas subterráneos, ofrecen un entorno de buceo completamente diferente al del Caribe.
Durante la expedición exploraremos cenotes seleccionados, donde la luz, las formaciones rocosas, las haloclinas y la visibilidad crean escenarios únicos para el buceo y la fotografía submarina.
No necesitas experiencia previa en cenotes, pero sí una buena flotabilidad y control bajo el agua.
El buceo se realiza acompañado por guías locales especializados.
Buceo en Cozumel: Arrecifes y vida marina del Caribe mexicano
La expedición también nos lleva a Cozumel, uno de los destinos de buceo más reconocidos del Caribe mexicano.
Sus paredes y arrecifes ofrecen inmersiones de deriva entre corales y una gran diversidad de vida marina.
Durante estas inmersiones podremos encontrar tortugas, rayas águila, morenas, peces tropicales, meros y tiburones nodriza, dependiendo de las condiciones y de los encuentros del día.
Mucho más que un viaje de buceo a
Playa del Carmen
Echoes of Water nace para combinar dos mundos: el Playa del Carmen que existe bajo el agua y la cultura mexicana que se descubre en tierra.
Durante el viaje tendremos tiempo para conocer Playa del Carmen, visitar Puerto Morelos, descubrir las ruinas de Chichen Itzá o Cobá y participar en experiencias relacionadas con la cultura local.
También compartiremos la celebración de los Carnavales Yucatecos y una experiencia en una laguna secreta que será inolvidable.
Buceo con tiburón toro en Playa del Carmen
Entre noviembre y marzo, las aguas frente a Playa del Carmen reciben la visita estacional de tiburones toro, uno de los grandes encuentros que hacen especial a esta zona del Caribe mexicano.
Durante nuestra expedición, que tiene lugar entre finales de enero y principios de febrero, tendremos la posibilidad de realizar esta inmersión.
El avistamiento no está garantizado, ya que trabajamos con animales en libertad y las condiciones pueden variar.
Nuestra filosofía es observar la fauna sin alterar su comportamiento y disfrutar del encuentro respetando siempre el entorno.
Fotografía submarina en Playa del Carmen y los Cenotes
La Riviera Maya ofrece escenarios muy diferentes para la fotografía submarina: arrecifes de coral, grandes animales, pecios y la luz única de los cenotes.
Durante Echoes of Waters realizaremos un workshop de fotografía ambiente submarina con Borja García, combinando técnica, práctica y feedback en el agua.
Además, cada participante tendrá una sesión de fotografía submarina en los cenotes, para llevarse imágenes profesionales de su experiencia.
Mejor época para bucear en
Playa del Carmen
Playa del Carmen ofrece buceo durante todo el año, pero las condiciones y los encuentros con determinadas especies cambian según la temporada.
Nuestro viaje se realiza del 29 de enero al 7 de febrero de 2027, una época especialmente interesante para combinar buceo en cenotes, arrecifes del Caribe, Cozumel y la posibilidad de encontrar tiburones toro.
Como siempre, los encuentros con fauna marina dependen de las condiciones del océano y no pueden garantizarse.
