The Red Sea is one of the world's premier diving destinations, and its northern region combines two vastly different experiences in a single trip: magnificent historic shipwrecks and vibrant tropical reefs teeming with life.
On our "Red Waters" expedition, we will complete over 19 dives, exploring the wrecks of the Northern Red Sea, the reefs of Tiran and Ras Mohammed, and various other dive sites—including night dives.
Spend a week aboard exploring Egypt's underwater world, learning underwater photography, and uncovering the history hidden within some of the planet's most famous shipwrecks.

History
Thistlegorm - Carnatic & Dunraven
The northern Red Sea is the world's largest ship graveyard, and every wreck has a story to tell.
The SS Thistlegorm was sunk in 1941 by German bombers while transporting war materiel to the front.
The RMS Carnatic has been on the seabed since 1869, now covered in coral and teeming with life.
The Dunraven has been there since 1876. Each dive is a journey back in time to a precise moment in history, preserved untouched by the sea for decades.

In Tiran and Ras Mohammed, the pristine reefs add another dimension: sheer coral walls, Napoleon wrasse, barracuda in formation, and reef sharks in the currents.

Seven days underwater are seven days of photographic opportunities.
Borja and Andrea will document the entire expedition inside the shipwrecks, on the reefs of Tiran, during the night dives.
You'll take home real images of what you experienced, not posed, catalog shots. Authentic moments in one of the most cinematic underwater settings on the planet.

Wide Angle vs Macro
Photography contest open to all participants with prizes for the winners. Two categories—wide-angle and macro—so each diver can compete in their preferred style.

The SS Thistlegorm is one of the most famous shipwrecks in the diving world.
The British cargo ship was sunk in 1941 during World War II and now rests on the seabed of the Red Sea, having become an artificial reef teeming with life.
Its holds and structures preserve elements of its history and offer one of the most spectacular settings for wreck diving and underwater photography.

Ras Mohammed
In Ras Mohammed, one of Egypt's most renowned marine areas, we will explore reefs such as Shark Reef and Yolanda Reef, where coral walls and pelagic life create some of the most spectacular underwater landscapes of the trip.
Underwater photography in
the Red Sea
The Red Sea offers one of the most diverse settings for underwater photography: massive shipwrecks, coral reefs, schools of fish, macro life, and spectacular light rays piercing through the ship structures.
During "Red Waters," we will focus specifically on wide-angle photography, learning to make the most of the scale of the wrecks, composition, and available underwater light.
In addition, each participant will take part in photography sessions throughout the expedition and receive on-board feedback to improve their images day by day.
Diving in Tiran: reefs and large schools of fish
The reefs of Tiran offer a perfect contrast to the shipwrecks of the northern Red Sea.
Coral walls, currents, and large concentrations of fish make this area one of the expedition's must-visit spots.
Jackson Reef, Woodhouse, Thomas, and Gordon offer diverse settings for observing and photographing Red Sea marine life.
Red Sea Liveaboard:
7 nights on board
The Red Waters experience takes place aboard a liveaboard, allowing us to travel between the top dive sites of the Northern Red Sea and make the most of every day.
The trip includes 8 days and 7 nights on board with full-board accommodation, over 19 dives, Nitrox, and guidance from our team throughout the expedition.
Best time to dive in the Red Sea
The Red Sea offers year-round diving, although conditions regarding temperature, wind, and visibility vary depending on the season.
Our "Red Waters" trip takes place from March 20 to 27, 2027, coinciding with the start of one of the best times of year to explore the Northern Red Sea. During this period, we expect good visibility and pleasant temperatures, allowing us to fully enjoy both the shipwrecks and the reefs.
As always, sea conditions can vary, and the itinerary may be adjusted based on the weather and the state of the ocean.
