2. Dive Trips and Experiences
2.1 Nature of the Experiences
Travel experiences organized by Born to the Ocean are conducted in small groups, with limited availability, and require planning, advance bookings, and coordination with local providers.
For this reason, cancellation conditions are strict and are always communicated prior to confirming a reservation.
2.2 Reservation Confirmation
A reservation is considered confirmed once the agreed payment (full or partial) has been received and confirmed in writing by Born to the Ocean.
Payment of the reservation implies express acceptance of this policy.
2.3 Cancellation by the Participant
Cancellations must be communicated in writing (WhatsApp or email).
The reservation deposit is non-refundable unless expressly stated otherwise in the specific conditions of the trip.
In certain cases, Born to the Ocean may evaluate:

The transfer of the booking to another person

Or applying the amount paid as credit toward future experiences
These options are not guaranteed and depend on the nature of the trip and agreements with local providers.
2.4 Cancellation or Modification by Born to the Ocean
Born to the Ocean reserves the right to cancel or modify an experience in the event of:

Adverse weather conditions

Failure to reach the minimum number of participants

Situations compromising safety

Causes beyond the organization’s control
In such cases, participants will be offered:

Postponement of the trip

Or a refund of amounts paid corresponding to services managed directly by Born to the Ocean
Born to the Ocean is not responsible for external expenses not directly managed (flights, insurance, independently booked accommodations, etc.).
2.5 Participant Responsibility
It is the participant’s responsibility to:

Hold the appropriate diving certification

Have valid dive and travel insurance

Meet medical and safety requirements

Acknowledge that diving and activities in natural environments involve inherent risks
Being unfit to participate in an activity does not entitle the participant to a refund.
3. Digital Products and Academy
3.1 Nature of Digital Products
Digital products (online courses, ebooks, presets, downloadable content) are considered digital content with immediate access.
3.2 Refund Policy
Once payment has been made and access to the digital content has been granted:

No returns are accepted

No refunds will be issued, except in the case of a technical failure attributable to Born to the Ocean that prevents access to the content
This is in accordance with European regulations on digital content.
4. Personalized Guidance Services
Guidance services are provided on a personalized basis and by prior appointment.

In case of inability to attend, rescheduling may be considered if communicated with sufficient advance notice.
